We build adjustable steel props on dedicated inner and outer tube welding lines. Here is what that process looks like and which options we can offer.
Dedicated Welding for Adjustable Steel Props
Our adjustable steel prop production runs on separate machines for the inner and outer tubes. This keeps each tube dimension stable before the two parts are joined. The result is a steel propping unit that threads and extends without binding.
We set up the prop welding equipment in our own factory, so we can control the fit between the inner and outer tube. That matters for a shoring prop that has to hold position under load. We do not claim perfection, but we do check the thread engagement before the prop leaves the line.

Closed and extended heights are made to order. Load data is issued with the quotation.
Options and Marking for Steel Props
- Finishes. Hot-dip galvanized is our standard finish. Painted or powder coated props are available in red, orange, blue, or yellow.
- Tube sizes. Outer tubes come in 48, 56, or 60 mm. Inner tubes are 40 or 48 mm. Wall thickness is 2.75, 3.0, or 3.2 mm.
- Letter stamping. We can stamp your company name or logo on the tube end. This is done before the prop is assembled.
- Load capacity. Our adjustable steel props are rated for 800 kg load capacity. Please confirm your actual working load with our team.
- Thread rolling. We roll the threads on the inner tube in-house. This gives a smoother surface for the jack nut to travel on.
